Proclaiming the love of Jesus in our communities

Home

All our parish Parish Churches are beautiful traditional building, with a good organ, sound system, a in the case of St Michael's full peel of eight bells, and seating for more than 200. It is an ideal venue for your special day, and what better way to start your married life together than to make your commitment to each other in God's house, and to ask for his blessing upon your union. Make your day special and memorable by getting married in church. Keep it simple or go ornate - the choice is yours.

Divorcees may be married in church, depending on their circumstances.

What will it cost?

Weddings – Arrangements

Weddings will be as often as requested whenever possible. However, because of a greater  request to import own organists such organists must rehearse on the day of the service. This is to prevent wear and tear on the organ. Anyone wishing a Baptism or Wedding is asked initially to contact Mrs. Sue Rawcliffe (Mawdesley) 01704 821675, Mr John Raynor (Croston) 01704 600809 or Mrs Sheila Williams (Bretherton) 01772 601016 who will be delighted to help.
