Special Note:- No Confirmation groups on Sunday 14th February

Confirmation 2010.

The first meeting of the Confirmation group has now taken place. If you are interested in being confirmed in 2010 and would really like to join either the young people's or the adult's group then please download the class dates (below) and come along to the next Confirmation group.

If you would like to know more about Confirmation speak either to the Rector, Rev'd David Reynolds on 01704 822203 or to Rev'd Bill Sloan on 01257 453665.

To download the registration form please click here. Please read carefully what each candidate is agreeing to before commencing Confirmation. Also, during the time of the Confirmation classes, each candidate should attend at least two services each month; at least one of which must be a Holy Communion. It may be that a sporting activity will conflict with the Sunday morning services. Do plan well in advance as every candidate must attend at least twice each month between October and March/ April. If in doubt or you have any questions please talk to Rev'd Bill Sloan 01257 453665 or send an e-mail by using this link. You could either send the completed registration form to Revd Bill Sloan, hand it to him at Church or bring it to the first meeting on the 18th October. Of course you could always send it by e-mail using the link.

To download the class dates, please click here.

When you come to the Confirmation class don't forget your Bible. You will need it. There are many good translations. BUT a children's Bible or a story Bible would be unsuitable. If you have to buy a new Bible you should get the NRSV translation. Grandma or Granddad's old Bible would probably be unsuitable for the group.

We look forward to hearing from you.

What is Confirmation all about. Come along and find out.

It is never to late to think about being Confirmed. You can be confirmed at any age. Every year we have a group for adults and another for young people and teenagers. We will gladly answerer any queries you may have. You may be interested to know, the adult group is open to anyone who has already been Confirmed. It will be a refresher course for you and we are sure you would enjoy it. No charge at all, just turn up.

What happens after Confirmation?

What would attract you to Church with your friends? We need your ideas. If nothing would attract you to Church would you tell us why? We won't be offended and really do value your comments.

Please send them to me by using this mail link?

We have tried a monthly Youth Praise (it wasn't successful but are willing to try anything again or anything new) Send us your suggestions, we will pray about them, discuss them and try to discern where God is leading us. BUT we do need your help.
