Confirmation 2009.

Takes place on Sunday 8th March at 9.15 a.m. in St Michael & All Angel's Croston. Bishop Nicholas, Bishop of Blackburn will Preside at Holy Communion and Confirm the candidates.

The first meeting of the Confirmation group is on Sunday 19th October, 2008 in the Parish Room behind St Peter's Church, Mawdesley. Anyone who is considering Confirmation must come to this group to register.

When you come to the Confirmation class don't forget your Bible. You will need it. There are many good translations. BUT a children's Bible or a story Bible would be unsuitable. If you have to buy a new Bible you should get the NRSV translation. Grandma or Brandad's old Bible would probably be unsuitable for the group.
