Baptisms are by arrangement with the Rector.

Baptisms and Weddings – New Arrangements

Because of the increased workload it is necessary for the Rector to review his policy. In the past he has taken Baptisms from outside and often when requested. He would be happy for applicants now to go to their own local churches. Equally, Baptisms will alternate on the first Sunday of the month between Mawdesley and Croston at 12:30. Weddings will be as often as requested whenever possible. However, because of a greater  request to import own organists such organists must rehearse on the day of the service. This is to prevent wear and tear on the organ.
